LIVE TV Channels - COAX Headend
We provide a range of modular transmodulator modules, the proQuad range. These modules can be used to set-up your own headend reception system. The ProQuad enables receiving and distributing SD and HD satellite signals and analog A/V-streams in collective systems through an existing coaxial cable. This makes it possible to add satellite channels without changing the whole infrastructure.
Transmodulation is the conversion from one standard to another. We may use the DVB-T or DVB-C standard for the transport of DVB-S (2) signals. Another possibility is the digitalization and modulation of analog signals (A/V streams), according to the same DVB-T/C standard. The advantage of this approach is that the existing coax network can be used for the transport of TV, radio and audio/video streams.
